Domestic Coffee Machine Repair

Home coffee machines are put through regular use and, over time, develop faults that affect brew quality, pressure, or heating. Our domestic repair service is designed for owners who want their machine assessed honestly and repaired where it is cost-effective to do so.

We cover a wide range of domestic appliances including bean-to-cup machines, manual espresso makers, pod-compatible machines, and filter coffee makers. Before carrying out any repair, we provide a clear assessment of the fault and an indicative cost so you can make an informed decision.

Who This Is For

Homeowners and flat residents who use a domestic espresso or coffee machine regularly and have noticed a fault or decline in performance. Suitable for machines from common household brands.

What Is Included

  • Full diagnostic inspection of the machine
  • Assessment of pump pressure and heating elements
  • Identification and sourcing of faulty components
  • Parts replacement (cost agreed in advance)
  • Post-repair functional test
  • Written summary of work carried out

Common Faults We Address

Commercial

Commercial Espresso Machine Servicing

A commercial espresso machine is one of the most critical pieces of equipment in any café, restaurant, or office kitchen. When it develops a fault, it directly affects your ability to serve customers. Our commercial servicing is focused on getting equipment back into reliable operation with minimal disruption.

We work on traditional multi-group espresso machines, automatic volumetric machines, and high-capacity bean-to-cup units. Servicing can be arranged on a one-off reactive basis or as part of a scheduled maintenance arrangement, depending on what suits your operation.

Who This Is For

Café owners, restaurant managers, hospitality operators, and office facility managers who rely on espresso equipment for daily service. Suitable for single-site businesses and small multi-site operations.

What Is Included

  • On-site or workshop-based inspection and diagnosis
  • Group head disassembly and cleaning
  • Boiler pressure and temperature assessment
  • Gasket, seal, and solenoid inspection and replacement
  • Steam arm and wand servicing
  • Calibration and extraction testing
  • Service report provided on completion

Preventative Maintenance

For businesses that prefer a proactive approach, we can discuss scheduled servicing intervals. Regular maintenance helps identify wear before it becomes a fault and can reduce the likelihood of unexpected breakdowns during service hours.

Descaling & Deep Maintenance

Limescale accumulates inside coffee machines through normal use, particularly in areas with hard water. Over time, scale deposits restrict water flow, reduce heating efficiency, and can eventually cause component failure. Professional descaling addresses scale build-up more thoroughly than consumer descaling products used at home.

Our deep maintenance service goes beyond descaling. We clean internal brew circuits, inspect seals and gaskets, check for early signs of wear, and return the machine in a condition that reflects its proper operating state.

Who This Is For

Domestic users and light commercial operators whose machines have not been professionally serviced recently, or who are experiencing slower water flow, longer heat-up times, or changes in brew quality.

What Is Included

  • Internal inspection and scale assessment
  • Professional descaling of boiler and water circuits
  • Cleaning of group head and brew basket
  • Steam wand and milk circuit cleaning (where applicable)
  • Inspection of seals and gaskets for wear
  • Flow rate and temperature verification after treatment
  • Guidance on future maintenance intervals

Hard Water Considerations

The UK has significant regional variation in water hardness. Areas such as London, the South East, and parts of the Midlands have notably hard water, which accelerates scale formation. If you live in a hard water area, more frequent descaling may be appropriate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you collect machines or do I need to drop them off?

We accept machines dropped off at our service location and can also arrange collection for commercial equipment where needed. Contact us to discuss the most practical option for your situation.

How long does a typical repair take?

Turnaround time depends on the nature of the fault and parts availability. Simple repairs and servicing are often completed within a few working days. We will provide an estimate when we have assessed the machine.

Will you tell me if the machine is not worth repairing?

Yes. If the cost of repair is disproportionate to the machine's age or value, we will say so clearly. We do not proceed with work without your agreement and will provide an honest assessment of your options.

What brands do you work on?

We work on a wide range of domestic and commercial brands. Contact us with your machine's make and model and we will confirm whether it falls within our current scope.

Is there a diagnostic charge if I choose not to proceed?

We apply a diagnostic fee for assessment work. If you choose not to proceed with a repair following the assessment, this fee covers the technician's time. Full details are provided before you send or bring in a machine.

Do you offer any post-service support?

We provide a written summary of all work carried out and are available to answer follow-up questions about the service. For commercial clients, we can discuss ongoing maintenance arrangements.

Not Sure Which Service You Need?

Get in touch and describe the issue you are experiencing. We will advise on the most appropriate next step without any obligation.
